Release Your Tension With Myofascial Release Therapy

Myofascial Release Therapy (MRT) is a specific hands-on remedial massage technique. It’s used to release tension in the fascia due to aging, poor posture, inactivity, trauma, surgeries, or inflammation. Specialized trained therapists, such as physical therapists, chiropractors, or massage therapists, perform MRT.

Fascial Face Lifting Treatment

Are you seeking a natural method to rejuvenate your appearance without the need for injectables or surgery? We are pleased to introduce Hadado.  A transformative treatment that serves as a non-surgical facelift.

This treatment aims to improve skin tone, reduce wrinkles, and stimulate collagen production through deep massage and acupressure techniques.

An exceptional technique that merges the ancient art of Japanese massage with buccal massage, fascial releases, and lymphatic drainage to lift, tone, and revitalize the skin.  The result is a noticeable reduction in fine lines and a more youthful appearance.  Additional benefits include reduction in jaw/ TMJ and neck pain and tension.

Receiving this treatment prior to injectables will maximize their benefits and extend results. Wait two weeks post-Botox and 1 month post fillers before receiving this treatment.  This is not a “spa facial”.Please see our facial menu for those treatments.

This treatment is done by our Physical Therapist, Dr. Bo, DPT who is formally trained in the Hadado technique.

Freqently Asked Questions

Our team is dedicated to helping you feel your best. We’re ready to address your needs or answer any questions you have about Myofascial Release Therapy. If you’re looking for more information or have questions not covered here, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help ensure your experience is both effective and comfortable.

After discussing your concerns, our affiliated physical therapist, Dr. Bo, PT, uses a combination of long stretching strokes, sustained subtle pressure, and gentle “pin and stretch” techniques. Dr. Bo may also use metal or acrylic body tools to smooth out soft tissue adhesions.

Each trigger point release massage session is customized to your specific concerns. Your experience will feel spa-like, just like our other massage treatments, as you’re treated in one of our soothing massage rooms.

You can book Myofascial Release Therapy for most areas of the body, including your neck, shoulders, arms, head, jaw, legs, hips, and feet. Dr. Bo may incorporate various techniques and styles of MRT she feels may be most helpful in addressing your concerns.

MRT is a remedial massage technique that targets and releases specific pains affecting your muscles, tendons, and joints. Balancing your muscular tissues helps ease the movement of all the structures affected by damaged fascia.

In turn, this leads to better joint range of motion, improved flexibility, and, best of all – fewer aches and pains. Most clients report these improvements immediately after each session. For more long-term, chronic issues, multiple sessions may be recommended.

MRT can be used as a post surgery massage to help restore motion, ease pain, and increase flexibility. It can only be done a minimum of 6 weeks after surgery.

Connective tissues of various densities called “fascia” surround and permeate all our muscles, bones, nerves, spinal cord, the brain, blood, lymph vessels, and all the organs of the body. Fascia provides internal “scaffolding” to the whole body continuously as a four-dimensional matrix.
Applying continuous pressure to the fascia through trigger point release massage helps target knots and tightness, helping naturally lengthen the fascia to release tension.

Points of restriction in the fascia can place a great deal of pressure on our nerves, muscles, and joints. These restricted points often cause chronic pain and altered posture. Easing fascia minimizes superficial and deep adhesions, scars, fibrosis, or any tension points.

Adhering and shortened fascia lead to pain and discomfort. They’re quite commonly developed due to injuries, inactive lifestyle, and especially after surgical procedures like liposuction, C-section, breast surgery, etc. This makes MRT a great post surgery massage.

Releasing fascia with myofascial release therapy (MRT) greatly helps with chronic pain issues like neck, back, shoulder, knee pain, headaches, and TMD/TMJ pain to name a few. The treatment also simply feels great and relaxing, just as many massage techniques do. Often, you may notice your skin has a smoother esthetic look due to the release of adhesions, improved lymphatic flow, and blood circulation.

Yesterday was my first time at Balance spa, I was given a gift card for my birthday and that was seriously the best bday present I ever got. The whole experience from making the appointment to the very end was a amazing experience. I did the retreat package. Dejana did my massage and it was absolutely amazing. Alexee did my facial and i haven't had a facial that good in a very long time. I didn't want it to ever end. I left feeling so relaxed and my skin is so soft and glowy. I will definitely be returning ☺️
